Review of "Teach me I am forgotten by the dead" by Ralph Waldo Emerson
Teach me I am forgotten by the dead by Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803 - 1882) (pictured) was offered by Poets.org's Poem-A-Day on the anniversary of the poet's birth, May 25, 2013. It appears to be a moralistic poem about living a virtuous life but with questionable motives for doing so--a little deep for me.
I agree...but something is in there which caused me to seek further and thereby come to your blog...and I'd read it again for third time but my fiance beckons us go to the 7:15 showing of Great Gatsby
