Review of "Sweet Justice" by Melissa Mead

"Sweet Justice" by Melissa Mead appeared in Daily Science Fiction as part of its ongoing, every-other-Wednesday twisted fairy tale series on March 27, 2013.  "An old lady goes to a Home Depot-like store to purchase industrial strength candy for her candy house."  Several other stories by the same author have appeared in DSF and were reviewed in Songs of Eretz.

It is not always easy to put an interesting twist on an old household tale, but Ms. Mead succeeds.  She actually offers two interesting twists in her spin off of Hansel and Gretel:  a humorous one throughout, and a little surprise twist at the end.  5 out of 7 rocket-dragons.
