Review of Blodeuwedd by Virginia M. Mohlere

Blodeuwedd by Virginia M. Mohlere appeared in the March 2013 issue of Nitetblade.  In order to fully appreciate this moving poem, it is helpful to know the Welsh myth of Blodeuwedd.  Wikipedia actually has a nice summary.  The poet uses the owl as a powerful metaphor that is also apropos to the myth and evokes the anger and frustration that the woman, imprisoned in this form, must feel.
