Review of "Excelsior" by Walt Whitman

Excelsior by Walt Whitman (1819 - 1892) (pictured) was offered by Poets.org's Poem-A-Day on July 6, 2013.  Whitman is one of my favorite poets.  Excelsior typifies his in-your-face exuberance and his unabashed love of New York, America, and the earth.
